My Purpose and Vision
I want to give a little description of what I feel God has called me to do here at the University of Wyoming through Campus Ventures. The vision God has put in my heart has three parts: 1)To instill in the next generation of college students, specifically college men, a passion and strong commitment to pursuing the Lord and all that He has planned for them, 2) TO create an atmosphere where prayer would be the cornerstone of the ministry of every group on campus that claims Christ as Lord, and 3) To unify the body of Christ on this campus and to begin to connect with believers on other campuses across the country, with the ultimate goal of having a nationwide and global network of college students on fire for the proclamation of the Gospel and the advancement of God's kingdom here on earth.
About Campus Ventures at the University of Wyoming
Campus Ventures is an interdenominational students ministry located on several campuses in Wyoming, Nebraska, South Dakota and Mexico. Our purpose is to glorify God by knowing and loving Him and leading others to be devoted disciplemakers for Jesus Christ.
The Foundation for Christian Discipleship (FCD) oversees and administrates the ministries of CV. FCD also is involved in furthering the cause of Christian Discipleship in the region through financial support, training and seminars. FCD also is a channel for individuals to donate to people enrolled in seminaries or Bible colleges as well as those involved in disciplemaking ministries throughout the world.
